The workouts are well programmed, detailed, and purposeful. I never felt like the workouts were random and they always focused on continued skill development. Overall, the coaching and support is top notch. I would encourage anyone in the Philly area to check out Breaking Point Fitness.
In addition, the community there is so welcoming and motivating. I have never had such a positive experience at a gym before that made me want to push myself to my limits. It allowed me to re-establish a healthy lifestyle, which I am forever grateful.
BPF has honestly changed my life for the better. Post- organized sports in high school, it’s always been hard to find a form of fitness I enjoyed and stuck to. I always like lifting but could never get the programming on my own or motivation to push beyond my limits. Not only have a I found a form of fitness I love and look forward to every week but I found a community I wasn’t expecting to find. I have never been of a fitness community that is so inclusive and non judgemental. Everyone here just wants to get a little better every day and welcomes you no matter your skill level. All of the coaches are fantastic and push you to be better but in a safe and educated way. BPF is honestly one big reason I am so hesitant to move more into the suburbs simply because I don’t want to give this place up. I used to think my “fittest” years were long gone but CrossFit and breaking point make me excited to see what’s next and I think the fittest years of my life have yet to come. Thank you to Jim, Rachel, Allie, Rome, Katoa, Pat and everyone else who makes this gym so special.
Everyone wants each other to succeed. Any new person I've seen at the gym has joined and became regulars. Just walk through that door and change your life! You will be able to do things you never thought possible. It's an addiction for a reason!
Breaking Point is a fantastic gym. The equipment and facility are top notch and the coaches are terrific to work with. They are very conscious of any injuries one might have and regardless of your fitness level or Crossfit experience you will feel welcome working out in this space. Their coaching skills are excellent and they provides clear and concise instructions for each skill/movement.
The coaches are very experienced. They genuinely are concerned about you performing the movements safely and offer suggestions to improve your performance. The members of the gym are a mixed crowd... you have a few from every age group, you're bound to make a new friend. Everyone is very supportive of one another as we are competitive. Whether you're a beginner who has never worked out or you're like an Olympic lifter, you will fit in just fine.
